Christmas In July – Part Three
Christmas is exactly six months away. If you started sewing for Christmas earlier this month you probably have an item or two finished already. Doesn’t that feel good?! Here’s a few more suggestions to help you continue on your way. Or to give you a push if you haven’t started yet!
I love this fabric. I’ve used it in so many projects. As an accent, a background, a border. It’s a pretty color with a pretty, understated design. Love it!
Here’s a beautiful tone on tone red fabric. Happy little swirls sprinkled with little stars in a gorgeous red…. not an “in your face” red, but a dark, muted red.
Can you hear the bells ringing? A mottled green background with gold bells scattered all over – can’t you see it paired with the gold fabric above?
Never A Pair! designed by Mary Kerr makes a cute lone mitten or a lone stocking… who knows where the mate has gone. Decorate your tree or give as gifts.
If you need a new tree skirt One Crazy Christmas is a good choice. You’ll get instructions for three projects…. a tree skirt, a wall hanging, and a stocking. Crazy quilting and reverse applique are used on all three items.
Folk Art Christmas measures 55″ x 57″. It’s so colorful and cheerful. Now is the time to start on this one to be sure it’s finished in plenty of time to hang for the holiday season.
Go pour yourself a nice tall glass of iced tea or cool lemonade and cool off looking at all the Christmas patterns and Christmas fabric.
