Meet our Authors
Amy Cothan, Black Cat Creations
Amy Cotham is the co-owner of Black Cat Creations. She has always been interested in some form of crafting – macramé, decoupage, crochet, folk art painting. Amy took her first quilting class in 1984 and that was the start of a love affair. It was her love of quilting that lead Amy to pursue a job at the local quilt shop where she cut fabrics, sold machines, managed employees and kept the shop stocked. It was there that she met her partner, Judy Reynolds. With Judy’s art background, she was able to design beautiful original quilts that everyone just had to have. Together, they formed Black Cat Creations in 1998. Since then, Amy and Judy have really enjoyed creating fun and easy quilt patterns that appeal to quilters of all skill levels.
